Day 22 - Thimpu to Trongsa
Overnight at the Yangkhil Resort
This is the newest hotel in the area, built on a steep hillside just outside Trongsa. It provides comfortable and up to date facilities combined with traditional Bhutanese design. The garden is decorated with a traditional bridge, water wheel and pond. The We are at a height of 6,560 feet and have wonderful views of the mountains and river, and Trongsa’s historical sites. The spectcular fortress in Trongsa Valley is visible for many miles around.
