Day 29 - Jessore to Calcutta
The end of the rally! One of the greatest cities of India, Calcutta buzzes with activity and history. It was the capital city for the East India Company, then the British Raj, and as a result has some of the most interesting and extraordinary buildings in India.
The Oberoid is a lovely five-star hotel, in a 19th century building right in the heart of the city, very tranquil considering its location. There is a beautiful swimming pool, a bar and the staff always welcome us with open arms!
