Pokhara and specifically Fishtail Lodge is in ‘1000 Places to Visit Before You Die’. It is situated on a peninsular with Fewa Lake on one side and a forest covered hill on the other. There are spectacular views of the Annapurna range and the " Fish Tail " mountain.
The hotel has a kind of beach chalet layout with the backdrop of the lake and mountains. Rooms are comfortable and characterful, there is a swimming pool and the gardens are beautifully planted with flowers.
