FAQs
We have been asked a few questions about the event so here are some with their answers:
Q: What happens if we breakdown on the road? A: We have our own mechanics - both English and Indian - who will get you going at the roadside.
Q: What if you can't get the car going? A: We will arrange for your car to be transported to the night stop where we will continue to help with the repairs.
Q: What if the car cannot be repaired in India? A: We will arrange for the car to be transported to Calcutta and we will provide you with a Jeep at the first opportunity so that you can continue with the group.
Q: Our car is small and there isn't much room for luggage. Can you carry some of our luggage? A: We will be providing a luggage van which gets away as soon as the last piece is loaded.
Q: What is the weather like at this time of year? A: It is warm in the plains but can get quite cool in the evenings in the hills, so you must take some warmer clothing.
Q: Will there be snow on the road? A: No, we have scheduled the event to run after the snows have disappeared.
